Can you tell us about your industry and what inspired you to pursue this career?

My journey began in a hospital setting, but a personal experience with Botox opened my eyes to the world of aesthetics. I became passionate about helping others feel confident in their own skin. That passion inspired me to open House of Beauty Medspa in El Paso, where beauty and wellness go hand in hand.

What sets your approach to your profession apart?

At House of Beauty, we focus on both how you look and how you feel. As both the owner and a nurse injector, I lead with empathy. Our team – made up of 12 incredible women and one amazing man – shares a mission of empowerment and self-care. We offer personalized treatments rooted in trust, education, and a genuine desire to uplift others.

As a woman in your industry, what challenges have you faced, and how have you overcome them?

Building a business from the ground up in the competitive aesthetics industry has come with its challenges. But I leaned into mentorship, resilience, and my purpose: to inspire other women and create a space where beauty meets wellness. I always remind others to stay positive, even when faced with obstacles – and to never give up.

How do you ensure excellence in your work and a positive impact on those you serve?

We prioritize continuous education, patient safety, and an exceptional patient experience. From consultation to aftercare, we make sure every patient feels informed, cared for, and valued. Our success is built on innovation, a strong team culture, and a deep commitment to helping people feel beautiful from the inside out.

What trends are shaping your industry right now, and how are you staying ahead?

Wellness is becoming a major focus in aesthetics. Patients are looking for more than quick fixes; they want to feel their best holistically. We stay ahead through ongoing training, by integrating wellness-based services, and by staying closely connected to our patients’ mental, physical, and emotional needs.

What do you love most about working in El Paso?

El Paso is full of heart. There’s a strong sense of community, and we love being located at The Fountains at Farah, a vibrant and beautiful part of the city. I’m proud to contribute to a culture of self-love and growth in a place that truly supports small businesses.
