Each season the top fashion designers at New York Fashion will feature their collections. The Pantone Fashion Color Trend Report aids the designers in choosing their color stories across all areas of design: fashion, jewelry and makeup.
The current Pantone Color of the Year 2019 is Living Coral 16-1546. Pantone calls it “an animating and life-affirming coral hue with a golden undertone that energizes and enlivens with a softer edge.”
This hue is perfect for makeup because it is universally flattering on lips, nails, eyes and cheeks. It’s the perfect color between orange and pink, looks great on most skin tones, and is easy to wear. You can choose to highlight one of your features in this beautiful coral color or do a monochromatic look by using the same or similar shades on your eyes, cheeks, lips and nails.
