With a humble start cutting hair for inmates at the Cereso prison in Ciudad, Juárez, as a form of community service, Alexandra Mendoza is a second-time business owner with 20 years’ experience as a Master Stylist. Hair FX Studio, which opened in May 2019, combines the right balance to create a comforting and welcoming experience to be shared by men, women and families alike. “Men like to be pampered too,” says owner Alexandra. As a dual salon, it also includes a full service barbershop. Hair FX Studio’s staff consists of eight stylists, three barbers, three makeup artists and a nail tech. The studio’s services include manicures, pedicures, makeup, cuts, styles, colors and hot towel shaves for men. The team is very experienced—boasting close to 100 accumulated years in the industry—ensuring a work dynamic truly built for success. On top of the normal clientele, Hair FX Studio provides services for events, charities and print publications. “There is never a dull moment,” Alexandra says.
